Once you have chosen your quartz and approved the design, we schedule templating. A technician uses laser measuring equipment to capture the exact dimensions of every countertop run, including angles, curves, wall irregularities and the positions of sinks, faucets and cooktops.

Step 3: Custom Fabrication

With measurements in hand, your slab moves to our fabrication shop. We fabricate in-house using CNC machinery and hand finishing, which keeps quality control under one roof. Fabrication typically takes about five to seven business days and includes:

• Precision cutting to your digital template
• Sink, faucet and cooktop cutouts
• Shaping and polishing your chosen edge profile
• Backsplash pieces, if included
• Seam placement planned for minimal visibility, with veining matched across joints
• A quality inspection before anything leaves the shop

Use this window to finish other kitchen work, such as painting or new cabinet hardware.

How to Prepare Your Kitchen for Countertop Installation

The Week Before

• Clear everything off your existing countertops
• Empty the cabinets below the countertops, especially under the sink
• Remove wall items near the work area
• Make sure there is a clear path from the driveway or elevator to the kitchen
• Move area rugs out of the path (we lay protective coverings too)

The Day Before

• Turn off the water supply and disconnect sink plumbing, or schedule a plumber
• Have a licensed professional disconnect gas or electric cooktops
• Have your new sink and faucet on hand if you are upgrading
• Plan for an adult to be home for the entire installation
• Arrange a separate space for pets

Step 4: Installation Day

Arrival and Protection

Our crew of two to four installers arrives at the scheduled time, lays protective coverings along the path to your kitchen and inspects the work area.

Removal of Existing Countertops

If you are replacing old countertops, removal comes first. We carefully take out the old surfaces while protecting your cabinets, floors and appliances, and haul the old material away.

Cabinet Inspection and Leveling

Quartz needs a solid, level base. We check your cabinets for level and structural integrity and shim where needed so your countertops sit perfectly flat.

Setting the Quartz

Setting the slabs themselves usually takes two to four hours for a typical kitchen. Our installers:

• Position each piece, typically starting with the largest
• Set slabs on silicone adhesive and secure them to the cabinet base
• Align seams precisely and fill them with color-matched epoxy
• Install sink clips and any backsplash pieces
• Make final fit adjustments

Finishing Touches

• Silicone caulk around the sink and along the wall joint
• Thorough cleaning of all surfaces
• Removal of all packaging and debris

Most full installations, including removal of old tops, wrap up in about four to eight hours.

Step 5: Final Inspection and Walkthrough

Before we leave, you will walk through the finished work with our team lead. We check:

• Surface quality: no chips, scratches or imperfections
