Miami Beach packs 1930s Art Deco walk-ups, mid-century MiMo buildings, oceanfront towers and single-family homes on the bay islands into one barrier island. Griffin Quartz, a family-owned quartz countertop installer based in Boca Raton, installs quartz countertops in all of them, with slabs cut locally by our partner, Englert Arts. Founder Esley Fleitas has worked in stone for more than 20 years and still leads our installs.
Depending on the causeway and the time of day, our trip from Boca Raton is roughly an hour to an hour and a quarter. We schedule Miami Beach installs to start early and allow for bridge and beach traffic.
Older Deco and MiMo buildings often have narrow stairs or a compact elevator. We measure the path from the curb to your kitchen and plan piece sizes and seams so the stone actually fits.
Plenty of units here sit empty for part of the year. If your association allows it, a property manager or relative can let us in for the measure and the install.
The crew that templates your kitchen is the crew that installs it, working directly with our fabrication partner in Boca Raton. No hand-offs to a different installer between measure and install.
Salt air, small footprints and strict buildings shape most kitchen decisions on the beach. Quartz handles those conditions well, as long as it is planned with the building in mind.
Quartz is non-porous, so the salty, humid air coming off the Atlantic doesn’t work its way into the surface. It needs no sealing, which suits a place you may leave closed for weeks.
A studio or one-bedroom in South Beach may have only a few feet of counter. Solid or softly veined colors make a compact kitchen feel larger than a busy pattern does.

At templating we measure the cabinets and also the hallways, doors and elevator. That lets our fabrication partner cut pieces that fit through the building as well as on the cabinets.
Parking on the beach is scarce and often metered, so we confirm the loading area with management before the truck leaves Boca Raton. Install day ends with the tops set, the sink fitted and the kitchen wiped down.

Yes. We serve all of Miami Beach, from South Pointe to North Beach and the bay islands, from our base in Boca Raton. The trip is roughly an hour or a little more, and the in-home measure and estimate are free.
Usually, yes. We measure stairwells, doors and elevator cabs at templating and plan the countertop in pieces that fit, placing seams where they are least visible. If a piece cannot be carried in safely, we tell you before fabrication.
Most Miami Beach associations ask for something: a certificate of insurance, a work request signed by the owner, an elevator reservation or approved hours. Requirements vary by building, so we confirm them with you and management before scheduling.
For kitchens and baths inside the unit, yes. Quartz is non-porous, so salt air and humidity are not absorbed, and it never needs sealing. Counters on an open balcony are different, because direct sun can fade many quartz colors.
