Much of Aventura lives in high-rises. The city is mostly condominium towers lining the Intracoastal and the Turnberry golf course, with a smaller number of townhomes and villas. Griffin Quartz is a family-owned quartz countertop installer based in Boca Raton, and a big part of our Aventura work is replacing original countertops with quartz in units that are twenty or thirty years old. Each piece is cut and finished in Boca Raton by our fabrication partner, Englert Arts, and founder Esley Fleitas, who has more than 20 years in stone, leads the team that installs it.
Aventura is roughly 45 to 60 minutes south of Boca Raton, using the Ives Dairy Road or Miami Gardens Drive exits off I-95, or Biscayne Boulevard. Travel times are approximate and depend on traffic.
Aventura towers typically want a certificate of insurance with the association named, an approved work request and elevator time on the calendar. We ask for the building’s requirements before we book anything.
Stone has to ride up in the service elevator, so we measure the cab and the hallway to your door, then size pieces and plan seams so everything travels safely.

The process is built around what Aventura buildings ask of contractors.
Ask management for the contractor packet: insurance wording, work hours, elevator booking and any seasonal limits on renovation. Our condo countertop installation guide explains what these packets usually contain.
Narrow the field on our quartz brands page first. When you have a shortlist, the Englert Arts showroom in Boca Raton, where our customers see slabs, is open Monday through Friday, early morning to mid-afternoon, for a side-by-side look.
Once cabinets are in, we template the kitchen and baths and note the elevator, the corridor and the door widths. Our fabrication partner then cuts and polishes each piece to fit the space and the route.
We arrive inside the approved window, protect the elevator and hallway as management requires, set the tops, fit the sinks and clean up before we leave.

Roughly 45 minutes to an hour from our base in Boca Raton, depending on I-95 traffic. Aventura is a regular stop for us, and there is no charge for the visit or the estimate.
Most towers ask for a certificate of insurance naming the association, an approved work request, a reserved service elevator and work within set weekday hours. Some also limit renovations during the winter season. We confirm the details with management before scheduling.
Often, yes. If the cabinets are level and solid, new quartz can go on top of them after the old countertops come off. We check the cabinets at the measure and tell you if anything needs attention.
