Calacatta Themis, part of the Suma series, places black and gray veining on an off-white background. The veins travel in broad diagonal bands with a textured, bubbled edge, giving the slab a strong direction that shows best on long islands, waterfall ends and full-height backsplashes. Plan the layout with the fabricator so the bands flow across seams. It suits black, charcoal or white cabinetry and matte black or polished nickel hardware. Calacatta Themis is polished and sold in 2 cm and 3 cm.
