MSI Q Calacatta Fioressa Quartz

White marble-look quartz with subtle veining

Calacatta Fioressa has a layered base where white and soft gray tones blend together, giving it depth before any veining appears. Over that, wispy veins of darker gray and gold drift across the slab. It is part of the Bocage Collection. The mixed gray-and-gold palette pairs with greige or pale gray cabinetry, white oak and satin brass hardware. It works for kitchen counters, backsplashes and islands, and in bathrooms on vanities and walls. Polished; 2cm and 3cm.

What Pairs With Calacatta Fioressa

  • Cabinets - Greige or pale gray cabinetry, or white oak; both sit well against the mixed gray base.
  • Hardware and fixtures - Satin brass for warmth, echoing the gold wisps; brushed nickel if the gray should lead.
  • Backsplash - A gray-veined marble-look mosaic or a soft white tile with gray grout to match the layered base.
  • Floors or walls - White oak floors or a light gray stone-look tile, with walls painted a warm gray that suits the layered base.

Where MSI Q Calacatta Fioressa Works Best

Calacatta Fioressa works where a plain white would feel too bright, because its base blends white and soft gray for depth before any vein appears. The wispy darker gray and gold veins suit kitchen counters, backsplashes and bath walls in greige and white-oak schemes. The layered gray base means it never looks crisp white, so it is not the choice for an all-white modern kitchen.

Calacatta Fioressa Compared With Similar Quartz

Calacatta Aidana, also Bocage, stays bright white with silver cracks. Calacatta Valentin similarly has a two-tone base, but in warm whites with brown and gold veins. Fioressa's base mixes white with soft gray, giving a cooler, softer depth.

MSI Q Calacatta Fioressa FAQs

Both. The base blends white and soft gray tones, so it reads slightly softer than a bright white. Wispy veins in darker gray and gold drift over that. Next to a pure white cabinet it will look a little grayer.

Greige, pale gray and white oak suit its mixed gray-and-gold palette, and satin brass hardware brings out the gold wisps. Bright white cabinets also work, but they emphasize the gray in the base, so the counter will look softer and darker beside them.
