Black solid quartz
Nocturno is a deep, near-solid black. Close up, it shows tiny reflective flecks scattered across the surface like distant stars. It carries no veining, and the polished finish deepens the black. Compac offers it in 1.2cm and 2cm within its Functional range. It suits contrast schemes such as white lacquer or light oak cabinets, and makes a clean bar top or island. Like most polished black surfaces, it shows fingerprints and water spots more readily than lighter colors, so it suits bathrooms and lower-traffic counters as well as kitchens.
